Move preparation

We understand that moving can be a difficult time. Deciding what to bring, and what to part with can be a daunting task. Our team will come and assist you in your decision process. Our goal is to keep you focused and on track. We do not tell you what to take, we help you decide what will work best for you and your new home. Then, we help you prepare remaining things you decide not to take. Whether its preparing for an estate sale representative to come in and handle the rest, or disperse to family or donate to a local charity, we handle it.

Moving

Our team will arrive at the scheduled time, with a 26 ft fully equipped truck. Some of the equipment includes, quilted furniture pads, dollies, hand tools, tape and shrink wrap. All of your furniture will be padded and shrink wrapped for protection. 

All pricing is based on an hourly rate, and this rate varies depending on the crew size and trucks required.  No additional charges for the following:

  • Fuel surcharge or trip fee
  • Stairs
  • Furniture assembly and disassembly
  • Free use of wardrobes day of move, loaded and unloaded by us.
  • Padding of all furniture with moving blankets
  • Furniture placement
  • Ready to sleep bed: assembled and bedding on bed.
  • Appliances- disconnect and reconnect 

Time starts when we arrive, and stops when you are finished with us. 

Packing

Each crew member is professionally trained to handle all of your possessions with the utmost care. They have the hands on training to pack delicate items of all varieties, sizes, and value as well as other common house hold items such as clothing, bedding, pictures, and books, etc.

 In addition to the free use of wardrobes on the day of the move we give all packing supplies to you at cost.

Unpacking

We also offer a variety of unpacking options as well. We can do as little or as much as you prefer, we will even line your shelves. On a typical move day, we can guarantee to have the kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms, completely unpacked and set up, and boxes and trash out by the time the moving truck leaves. 

Other services include:

  • Unpack all boxes
  • Shelf lining
  • Wipe off shelves. 
  • Put all items away.
  • Picture hanging
  • Organizing, from the kitchen drawers and cupboards to the linen closet and everything in between
  • Set-up all extraneous items, such as the shower curtain, adjusting the clocks to the correct time
  • Removal of all boxes and debris

These services are also based on an hourly rate dependent on crew size.
